What Am I?

I'm deep in my groove, I'm not over you But I'm tryna be inspired, uh It's just not working today, don't want you to think That I wanna put the fire out, the fire out You don't wanna show love And I don't wanna go there with you, uh We've been the opposite of lovers But every time we go there I don't know what I am to you I, I wonder if you need me, wonder if you see me See me when you're dreaming I, I wonder what I mean to you (You) What am I? (Mmm, what am I, what am I to you?) I gotta get with this work, I can't put you first You know I'm not a liar, oh no Though I can't do us today Don't wan't you to think that we can't get no higher now, higher now You don't wanna show love And I don't wanna go there with you, uh We've been the opposite of lovers But every time we go there I don't know what I am to you I, I wonder if you need me, wonder if you see me See me when you're dreaming I, I wonder what I mean to you (You) What am I? (Mmm, what am I, what am I to you?)
